J'ai la flemme de traduire... un jour peut-être (t'façon personne lit -_-')

Formed in 2003, the trio STEVANS first appeared with a CD including 6 titles, “The Reversal EP”, which made their name in French-speaking Switzerland. Their single “Monday’s Wedding” is broadcast on radio Couleur 3. Festivals such as Paléo, Vernier-sur-Rock, Pully for Noise, Fête de l’Espoir and Les Traverses-Musicales open their doors to the band.

In 2005, STEVANS enter the Studio Relief to record their 1st eponymous album, with the sound engineer of the Young Gods, Bertrand Siffert. From real rock to beautiful melodies, STEVANS extend their horizons. The deep texts of A Woman in Love sit alongside the sarcasm and the irony of titles such as Emotional Cash. The whole is supported by the solid rhythmic section of Bruno Tancredi’s bass and John Chirico’s drums, driven through by powerful guitars and the husky voice of Yvan Franel.

Released in September, 2006 on the label Condor Records (only Switzerland), the album allows the band air-time on Couleur 3 and Radio Lac with 3 new titles. The German part of Switzerland welcomed the band with opened arms, which became the “Swiss Top” band on radio DRS 3.

After falling under the spell of the sound of the album, ISSAP production invited STEVANS on the compilation “Dis l’heure 2 Hip Hop Rock”, released at the end of October 2006. A duet with the New York rapper Big Ali, “Rising Melodies”, was the result.

Inspired by British rock, and anxious to gain the attention of their peers, STEVANS played England for two concerts in London (The 100 Club) and Manchester ( Night&Day Café).

After many concerts in “French-speaking” Switzerland and a particularly warm welcome in the “German-speaking” part. Stevans performed as a support act for ‘The Servant’ on their Swiss tour. The group continues their conquest, undertaking a tour in Paris, including clubs such as the “Flèche d’or”. In april stevans were in Portugal to promote the launch of their forthcoming al-bum, out in June. the group were received a very warm welcome from the public and various songs and video clips are to be diffused nationwide.

Stevans won the «Under the sky» contest of the Montreux Jazz Festival and will play at the Miles Davis Hall or auditorium stravinsky in 2008.
